The clues for the "Timber" letterbox can be
construed as vague by some. To clarify the location of this box, the clues
should read..."Sooner or later you will come upon two trees (on the right hand
side of the trail as you are descending a steep pitch) that have been
uprooted by wind and have been cut to make way for foot traffic.(If these were
allowed to remain uncut they would be across the trail.) These are located just
short of the "Poisoned Hemlock Forest." Behind one of these cut trees you
will find the "Timber" Letterbox."
